Jessica’s two decades of experience across a variety of sectors and accounting challenges enable her to uniquely impact your business at any stage of the growth cycle. Originally from Nashville, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. In 2007, she became a CPA with Puryear, Hamilton, Hausman & Wood, a highly respected regional accounting firm, where she spent seven years honing her expertise in financial statement analysis and auditing.
Jessica’s passion for partnering with business owners took root early in her career and blossomed during her twelve years as CFO for a closely held organization with interests in the horse racing and technology industries. In this role, she didn’t just manage finances, she drove growth. Jessica was instrumental in establishing best-practice financial reporting that enabled rapid expansion, successfully launched new business sectors, and more than doubled revenues. Her strategic vision ultimately supported the sale of both entities at over nine times earnings.
